Jason Brunell's Taxidermy

Prices: Waterfowl

Jason’s Taxidermy offers two series of waterfowl mounts. The “Base Series” and the “Pro Series.”  The difference between the two options is the “Pro Series” offers more detailed painting on the bill, legs, and feet.  When finishing the bird, extra time is spent aligning feathers, providing more symmetry, etc.

Waterfowl is what I specialize in.  It’s hard for a non-taxidermist to understand the extra hours that go into the small perfections of a mount, but I can spend hours aligning feathers and blending paint.  I know the importance of perfection.  I want to serve all of my clients best.  That is why I customize each mount and let the client chose whether they want a “Base Series” or a “Pro Series”mount!

Extra Information: Over the years I have come to understand some clients mount their trophies for sentimental reasons, (Great hunting trip, dogs first retrieve, etc…) while others want to mount a bird to appreciate the perfection a mature bird with great plumage offers.  Please tell me this type of information when bringing in your trophy.  It allows me to analyze your trophy and give feedback on the type of mount you will receive prior to starting.  Many people send pictures to my business cell from the field asking what I think of a certain bird.  This is great way to start the process of mounting any species of waterfowl!
